From Madrid to Shanghai to New York City, Alex has worked with artists and arts organizations in fifteen countries spanning five continents. In 2020, Alex was appointed President & CEO of Werklund Centre, becoming the youngest executive to oversee a major performing arts center in North America.
Since then, he has led a successful COVID-19 recovery plan and launched the single largest cultural infrastructure project in Canadian history, which broke ground in 2024 and has secured the largest philanthropic gift ever made to the Canadian performing arts sector.
